Robinson Crusoe
by Owen Money Theatre Company

The Owen Money Theatre Company are travelling across the oceans and visiting distant shores to bring you their adaptation of Robinson Crusoe. There are many versions of this tale and this production is a combination of all of them with a large slice of imagination thrown in for good measure.
For the first time the production is to be staged at The Welfare - Ystradgynlais
Owen Money takes the lead as ‘Billy Crusoe’, with a full professional supporting cast. From the London West End stage - singing sensation Peter Karrie is to star as ‘Bluebeard’ an artiste of his caliber will surely thrill south Wales audiences.

Join the crew aboard the ‘Saucy Sal’ for adventure and jolly japes on the high seas, shipwreck and mayhem on the island. With pirates, cannibals, Man Friday and Konga the Amorous Gorilla, you have the plot for a rollicking, fun filled production in the great British tradition of pantomime for all the family.

Martyn Mam A’r Wyau Aur gan Martyn Geraint
(Martyn Mam & The Golden Eggs)

Cwmni Martyn Geraint/Cynhyrchiad ar y cyd â Theatrau Rhondda Cynon Taf
Tocynnau : £6

Yn dilyn llwyddiant ysgubol pantomeim “Martyn a’r Pws mewn Bwts” y llynedd, mae pantomeim newydd sbon Martyn Geraint yn seiliedig ar stori dylwyth teg yr Hen Fam Ŵydd – ond yn y fersiwn swynol yma Martyn sy’n dodwy’r wyau aur!

Ac yntau wedi cael magwraeth ddigon gwylaidd gyda’i fam, a than gysgod y sgweier cas, mae cyfarfod ar hap gydag un o dylwyth teg mwyaf di-glem Cymru yn fan dechrau’r metamorffosis yma– ar ôl y newid yma mae pawb eisiau bod yn ffrindiau gyda’r cymeriad rhyfedd – gan gynnwys merch brydferth y sgweier – ond ai’r cymeriad hanner dyn-hanner aderyn mae hi gyda’i llygaid arno – neu’i gynnyrch glowy?!

Dyma bantomeim llawn hwyl, cerddoriaeth, lliw, anifeiliaid fferm a hud y theatr gan gynnwys pypedau unigryw iawn!

Following the hugely successful “Martyn a’r Pws mewn Bwts” panto last year Martyn Geraint is back with a brand new pantomime based on the classic fairytale of Mother Goose – but in this enchanting version it’s Martyn himself who becomes the bird who lays the golden eggs !

After a very humble upbringing with his mother, under constant threat from the nasty squire, it’s a chance encounter with Wales’ most intellectually challenged fairy that brings about the metamorphosis – but after the change everybody suddenly wants to be best friends with the strange creature – including the beautiful squire’s daughter – but is it the birdman that she fancies – or his shiny produce ?!

This will be a pantomime full of laughter, music, colour, farmyard animals and the magic of theatre including some uniquely original puppets!
