Sleeping Beauty

Once again the Glantawe Theatre Company are back with a superb pantomime that adults and children alike will enjoy, join the group that will take you on a journey into pantoland of Sleeping Beauty that spans across many centuries.

The King Cactus is so pleased with the birth of his daughter, The Princess Rose , that he throws the biggest party the kingdom has ever seen. But when he forgets to invite the land's most powerful sorceress, the Bad Witch Hazel, his happiness soon turns to grief. The witch, furious at not being invited, flies into the party to cast a spell on the baby, proclaiming that on her 18th birthday she will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die! The spell is so strong that the Good Fairy Lilac can only reduce its power by declaring that Princess will, instead, fall into a deep sleep. Join the hilarious assistant Nurse Dottie Dettol, the outrageous Nanny and the valiant Prince Alexis as they attempt to save Beauty from the evil spell and to make her dreams of love and happiness come true.
